It has the feel of a classic French farce, and it's as cute and upbeat as a comedy set on the French Riviera ought to be – a fairy tale about a woman who discovers there's more to life than shoes (a little, anyway).  Perpetually charming Audrey Tautou is paired with Morrocan-born Gad Elmaleh whose underfed look and puppy dog eyes make him a wonderful cinematic chameleon.

Tautou and Elmaleh make a wonderfully odd couple trying to eke out an existence in an impossibly luxurious setting. With their lean, hungry frames, they're as plucky and resourceful as characters in a Preston Sturges comedy.
