EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR'S REPORT

Fiscal Year 2007 Ends in the Black

The Foundation is extremely proud to announce that, for the second year in a row, the organization has ended its year in the black. Total expenditures were $591,236 and total revenue was $592,943, leaving a net income of $1707. Audience for the year grew by 6%, with 29,347 attending 411 events (an average of more than one a day).

Income came from these areas:
Fundraising Events (such as the annual auction and the Porterhouse Brewfest) 27%
Membership 19%
Rentals 16%
Individual Sponsors 14%
Grants 12%
Concessions 9%
Concerts 3%

We experienced losses of $20,000 in film and $1500 in the Arts In Education Series (school shows).

Most notable changes from fiscal year 2006 to fiscal year 2007 are:
35% increase in overall revenue
35% increase in overall expenses
89% increase in net rental income
23% increase in net concession income
11% increase in net fundraising income
