Romance, wit, and a good cup of tea are a winning combination in this celebration of author Jane Austen on film. Austen's novels delightfully skewer the foibles of the landed gentry of the Regency era with uncommonly pointed humor, making them classics that are still enjoyed by millions today.
Join us at White Branches -- Mount Vernon's magical tearoom -- for three period-piece films based on the novels of Jane Austen. White Branches is located at 100 E Montgomery St on the second floor of Mount Vernon’s historic Old Town Grainery building.
Before each film, join us for tea! Your ticket purchase includes a pre-show freshly-baked fruit scone with vanilla glaze and cup of Creme de la Earl tea.
Other food and drinks will be available for purchase, including White Branches menu bite boxes (limited availability), wine, beer, and non-alcoholic beverages along with cake, popcorn, and candy.

August 11: Love & Friendship
The seductive and manipulative widow Lady Susan Vernon (Kate Beckinsale) arrives at the estate of her in-laws to wait out the colorful rumors of her dalliances currently circulating through polite society.
Whilst there, she decides to secure a husband for her rather reluctant debutante daughter, Frederica (Morfydd Clark) -- and of course, while she's at it, herself, using devious tactics to try and win the heart of the eligible Reginald De Courcy (Xavier Samuel).
