New Earth Recovery, R.I.S.E. Recovery, and Recovery Cafe Skagit present a FREE community film: ICE AGE.
Invite your friends and family to join us for an evening of laughter and community connections as we celebrate the recovery community in Skagit County. We are so thankful for each person who works in the field, volunteers, shares resources, contributes financially, and shows up to help stop the cycle of addiction. Together, we are building a community where hope is restored and lives are transformed.
Twenty-thousand years ago, Earth was a wondrous, prehistoric world filled with great danger, not the least of which is the beginning of the Ice Age. To avoid a terrible frostbite, the planet's majestic creatures -- and a few small, slothful ones -- begin migrating south. The story revolves around sub-zero heroes: a woolly mammoth, a saber-toothed tiger, a sloth and a prehistoric combination of a squirrel and rat, known as Scrat.
Recovery Cafe Skagit - Recovery Café Skagit is founded on the belief that every human being is worthy and lovable regardless of past trauma, mental and emotional anguish, substance use disorder or human errors. RCS is another avenue to recovery in addition to traditional treatment programs and self-help groups. RCS also serves as a bridge to help members establish recovery, maintain their stability, reduce relapse, and fulfill their human potential.
