Spare Parts

Sunday, Nov 1, 5:30 pm

Spare Parts is the true story of a robot named “Stinky,” a scrappy creation imagined by a team of undocumented Mexican-born teens from Phoenix, Arizona. Encouraged by their coach to enter “Stinky” into a national underwater robotics competition, these boys overcame the odds to beat the country’s top student engineers, including a team from MIT. Experience the inspiring story through film at this free showing. Directed by Sean McNamara, this film stars George Lopez, Marisa Tomei, and Jamie Lee Curtis.

Spare Parts is presented by Skagit Reads.
