In the Art Bar: Dee Doyle

“I am happiest when I am creating and sharing through teaching and making art. My personal artistic journey is a series of ‘what ifs’. I choose to push the boundaries in my work, and try new ways to work the paint, whether it’s acrylics, mixed media, watercolors, or encaustics. In my fourth encore career as an art instructor, I paint a wide range of subject matter in various mediums … always trying to impart a personal response to whatever subject happens to show up in the lessons I teach. Whatever I am painting at any time is my favorite thing to paint, and it all makes me smile.”

Artist Statement:

My passion has always been to transform the artist's eye in practical visual forms in the landscape, until I realized the potential of the world of glass. Using glass has opened me up as an artist/landscape architect. It is my desire to integrate my knowledge of visual and 3-d form.

In the Art Bar: La Dolce Vita Preview

Producers Night Preview

Artists represented in our Art Bar Gallery over the years have generously donated their work to help raise funds at this year’s Producers Night fundraiser “La Dolce Vita”. This month’s preview show allows our patrons to view some of the art up for auction this year.

The idea behind this show is to make the art available to purchase now at the value determined by the artist thus not undervaluing their hard work.
