THE ROCKY HORROR SHOW AUDITIONS

WE’RE BACK

The antici… pation is over! Theater Arts Guild (TAG) is very excited to offer our first full-length, mainstage musical since before the pandemic! It’s been a long couple years and we have missed sharing art with our community.

Rocky Horror Show is a risqué, interactive musical comedy with a twist of horror and plenty of surprises. It follows the story of newly engaged Brad & Janet who find themselves at the castle of a mad scientist transvestite from Transsexual, Transylvania.

There is no need to prepare a monologue or dance routine (see exceptions below). We want to see your acting skills during your song. Movement will be a group activity during the audition (get ready to soul train!).

Dance

  • Only those auditioning for Columbia will be asked to learn a short piece of choreography during the audition.
  • All others will be asked to participate in a fun soul train as a group to show movement.

Monologue

  • Those auditioning only for the narrator may prepare a monologue for their audition. There will be no monologues for other roles.
  • If the production team needs to see specific acting skills for other roles, the actor will be invited to callbacks to read scenes from the script.
