Lincoln Theatre Center Foundation Covid Safety Update
AS OF APRIL 5, 2023
On Jan. 30, 2023, the Biden Administration announced it will end the public health emergency (and national emergency) declarations on May 11, 2023. Here’s what major health policies will and won’t change when the public health emergency ends.
What’s changing: Nothing. The availability, access, and costs of COVID-19 vaccines, including boosters, are determined by the supply of federally purchased vaccines, not the public health emergency.
What’s the same: As long as federally purchased vaccines last, COVID-19 vaccines will remain free to all people, regardless of insurance coverage. Providers of federally purchased vaccines are not allowed to charge patients or deny vaccines based on the recipient’s coverage or network status.
AT THE LINCOLN: Vaccines are recommended and masks welcome, but not required, for all future Lincoln Theatre events,
Lincoln Theatre Center Foundation board and staff have continually assessed the changing guidelines, local government updates, and artist contracts. As such, all COVID Health & Safety protocols are subject to change. Please check our website for the most up to date information before attending performances and events.
LINCOLN THEATRE'S HEALTH & SAFETY PRACTICES
We care deeply about the health and safety of our patrons, artists, staff, volunteers, and community. As such, we have been working with State and Local Health Officials, our Board of Directors, Members, and Performers to enact policies with the goal of keeping everyone safe.
- Our Front-of-House staff are fully vaccinated.
- Restrooms and high-touch surfaces are cleaned frequently.
- Our lobby has been re-designed to improve the flow of patrons entering and exiting.
- Our HVAC ventilation is fully open 24/7 with new MERV filters.
- Touchless hand sanitizing stations have been installed throughout the theatre..
- We recommend purchasing tickets online.
- Please do not enter the Lincoln Theatre if you are experiencing any COVID-19 or flu-like symptoms.
