Anna Netrebko opens the Met season with her portrayal of the ill-fated queen driven insane by her unfaithful king. She sings one of opera's greatest mad scenes in this Met premiere production by David McVicar. Ekaterina Gubanova is her rival, Jane Seymour, Ildar Abdrazakov sings Henry VIII, and Marco Armiliato conducts.

Pre-order lunches are available at the Saturday live broadcast courtesy of the Lunch Box on Pine Square. Patrons can place their orders in the theatre lobby before the performance begins, and lunches will be ready at intermission.
Pre-performance discussions will also be held on the Saturday live broadcasts, led by Stassya Pacheco and presented by the Skagit Opera Guild.
The Saturday broadcast is live via satellite; the Sunday performance is an encore recorded live broadcast.
