North Sound ACH presents: North Sound Voices Film Festival
On July 26, join us to see locally-made documentary-style short films about the incredible work being done in our region.
At this event, we will showcase:
- Storypole, where Coast Salish artist Jason Laclair shares his story
- Mi Barrio, featuring Alex Sanchez
- Love Me to Life, celebrating voices of color
- Pa'l Corazon, For the Heart, a cross-cultural story about food, life, and community.
We'll be joined by some of the filmmakers and those featured in the films, for a Q&A and sharing community at the reception following the screening.
North Sound ACH created this event to elevate the importance of storytelling as a way to educate leaders and other decision-makers of the innovative work being done in our region, and inspire collaboration and partnerships to become part of health equity work.
Tickets for this event are by donation, which will go to event organizer North Sound ACH. These donations allow us to pay honorariums to our community partners that participate in this film fest, our learning sessions, and convenings in 2025. Suggested $5-25.
