Hailing from The Netherlands, the inimitable Jet Black Pearl spent many years in France before settling in Portland, Oregon. Jet is a creator of alternative worlds filled with surreal humor and wry observations. With her loop station, she records grooves and layers of flute, vocal percussion and harmonies while squeezing one hot accordion. Swil Kanim is a U.S. Army veteran, storyteller, actor, and classically trained violinist from Washington State. A board member of the Seattle Symphony, he blends original compositions with powerful stories drawn from his life and heritage, inspiring audiences nationwide. His music and compositions are the direct result of a well-supported public school music program, which he credits for nurturing his artistry.

With musical roots four miles off Highway 61 on Dry Bayou Road south of Rolling Fork in the heart of the Mississippi Delta, Casaundra and James explore numerous genres with a theatrical flair and a commanding sound that beckons you deeper into their world. Kokomo Arnold and Amy Winehouse collaborate with Tom Waits, Muddy Waters, and Meg & Jack White, raising good times from the ashes of the bad.
