It's that time of year again!
The 9th annual Porterhouse Brewfest is back again on its usual summer Saturday on Gates Street between the River and 1st Street (...that's right in front of the Porterhouse restaurant in downtown Mount Vernon, for those that haven't been before). This is the best way to have some summer fun and support the Lincoln Theatre, as all proceeds benefit the Lincoln Theatre Center Foundation and its mission of operating the historic space and presenting programs for our community.
This year will again feature a wide array of local, regional and nationally-known breweries, as well as live blues bands, area wineries, and much more.
Tickets are on sale now, and are just $20 in advance ($25 the day of the event). Admission includes 5 tickets for beer tastings, with additional tickets sold for just $2 each.
For live entertainment, the Lincoln is proud to present some of the hottest blues bands around:
Bobby Holland & the Breadline - 2:00 to 3:30pm
The Chris Eger Band - 4:00 to 5:30pm
The Curtis Hammond Band - 6:00 to 7:30pm
Also included in the day's events are an on-going raffle with many cool items, food items from street cart vendors and the Porterhouse restaurant, and a great dancing space for those that want to move to the music.
