A fictitious story inspired by two legendary Indian revolutionaries in the 1920s, RRR follows Komaram Bheem (N.T. Rama Rao Jr), who must rescue a girl kidnapped from her village by British colonialists, and Rama Raju (Ram Charan), a valorous and loyal officer in the Indian Imperial Police tasked with subduing the growing independence movement.
When their journeys collide, the two men must decide where their loyalties lie -- through friendship, fisticuffs, and dance-offs alike.
