Join Us for a GREAT event to celebrate Nurses Week!
BE INSPIRED AND REMEMBER WHY YOU BECAME A NURSE!
Most of us have been affected by a nurse at some point in our lives. Nurses are witness to the most intimate moments of people's lives and are widely regarded as the most trusted profession and is full of amazing women and men. We would like to celebrate each and every one of you!
The Washington State Nurses Association (WSNA) Skagit Valley Hospital Local Unit invites all nurses, currently working, retired or students, to join us for a free showing of the amazing new documentary NURSES: If Florence Could See Us Now! Showing the world what it's like to be a nurse "through the eyes and voices of nurses, a rare look into their world."
There will be two showings of this inspiring and thought-provoking new documentary, as well as light snacks, beverages and giveaways. You can also join us for some dialogue, if desired.
The 90 minute movie will start at 12:30 pm and again at 4:00 pm, giving day, evening and night shift nurses the opportunity to attend and still be able to get to (and from) work on time.
We invite nurses from all over to join us; Skagit, Island, Whatcom, Snohomish County nurses are welcome. Please share this invitation with your fellow nurses or student nurses.
In order to ensure adequate seating, please RSVP by phone to Irene at WSNA at (206) 575-7979.
Thank you all for what you do every day.
Hope to see you there!
