El programa de mariachi del distrito escolar de Mount Vernon se complace en celebrar Cinco de Mayo el viernes 6 de mayo a las 7:00 p. m. en el teatro Lincoln de Mount Vernon. Tendremos Presentaciones de Mariachi Mount Baker, La Venture Middle School y Mount Vernon High School Mariachi y Folklorico.

Mount Vernon School District Mariachi & Folklorico is the biggest Mariachi Program in the westside of the state of Washington with over 100 students that are enrolled in the Mariachi and Folklorico program.
The mission of the Mariachi Program is to keep the Mexican traditions of dance and music alive with our youth. We believe that Mariachi Music will live forever in our community through their performances.
The MV Mariachi has performed annually at dozens of events and festivals all over Washington State. This year they have Mariachi Director Ramon Rivera who is currently teaching two Folklorico Classes and four high school Mariachi Classes.
